The bibchips impressive track record is not an accomplishment of bibchip technology alone but has above all been made possible by the official bibchip timekeepers. With the help of these timekeepers bibchip was able to be involved in more than 1,000 events until the end of 2005 – most sporting events in Germany are timed using the bibchip.
